Being from a city that is known for its pizza and hot dogs, it should come as no surprise that I like to eat. I’m also used to working long hours, skipping lunch breaks and avoiding long lines. Then I was introduced to GrubHub.com. GrubHub allows you to discover who delivers in your area and order your food online (or by phone.)
“With a network of over 10,000 delivery restaurants, GrubHub.com makes online food ordering easier and more convenient than ever before. Just search your address above or choose your city to the right. View delivery menus, reviews, and available coupons. When you find a restaurant you like, order online or by phone, all for free. Online ordering is simple, and our customer service team makes sure every order is delivered.”
GrubHub has been available in Boston, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia and San Francisco for a while. I recently found out that it is NOW available in Los Angeles (it’s still in Beta.)
Do you know how much easier this makes my move?! Sure I’m leaving the tasty pizza and delicious Chicago hot dogs behind, but now I’ll be introduced to new food from the comfort of my un-boxed apartment or office. I was surprised to learn that not many people in LA know about GrubHub so I thought I’d help spread the word about a company who has saved me from many long hungry days in the office.
So depending on what I’m in the mood for, I can search through the restaurants delivering to my location and see their menu right away. This also cuts back on the paper menus overflowing from your junk drawer. Follow them on Twitter and give them a try. A fed worker is a happy worker!
You’re welcome.
